9th CEM Dialogue – Harnessing Nature

Harnessing Nature (HN) is a knowledge product of the South Asia regional network of the IUCN Commission on Ecosystems Management (CEM). It is a multi-author blog (MAB) that invites articles from members of the South Asia region of IUCN CEM working under diverse themes, member activities, research and publication as well as their participation in relevant conferences and events, as well as public announcements. The home page of HN features flash updates from members of the commission. Harnessing Nature has become a platform for the CEM members across different thematic groups to exchange knowledge and generate awareness. Under the broad umbrella of IUCN CEM mission, the blog especially invites articles on ecosystem-based approaches for climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, ecosystem-based management, restoration, natural & green infrastructure, ecosystem governance, agriculture, forests etc with an emphasis on CEM intersessional mandates as per four years of Union programme. The blog is designed to highlight relevant publications, opinion pieces, conferences, events and other public announcements as well.
