Forest Ecosystems Specialist Group, IUCN CEM along with BITS Pilani, Goa and Government of Goa is organizing a consultative workshop on the role of forest ecosystems in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals in South Asia at BITS Pilani, Goa on May 09, 2019.
This workshop aims to understand the linkages between the forest ecosystems and the SDGs, in this context, a draft technical report of IUCN forest systems group will be discussed. We will take this opportunity to link this report to Goa’s proposed State Action Plan on Climate Change, and its Biodiversity monitoring initiative through the Goa State Biodiversity Board.
